I noticed one of the contestants is only 20 but will be 21 in June. What are the rules on this?

EOY is an 18+ system (at least according to the rulebook I have from last year).

National rules are 18 and over but some prelims are 21 and over if the venue is 21 and over only

This is sounding like it will be a prelim not to be missed......I wish I did not have other obligations...it would be so awesome to be able to attend this. I hope that Khori, Brandon, Jon, Andy, and all the others in attendance will give the CF family a play by play........It is also pretty cool to see CA involved in at least one of the Big Four this year. Can't wait to see hoe things play out for them.....certainly has been lots of discussion about this particular prelim.....Best Wishes to contestants, promoters, judges, and the CF Family in attendance for safe travels.....

With just over one week until the big day, I just wanted to wish all of my fellow contestants good luck and say how excited I am to be a part of such an amazing first year prelim! I have been dying for a bit of pageantry since I moved to Cali 2 years ago!

Lil' Piece of Trivia: In the beginning of the movie, Brittany Murphy (RIP) was holding up pictures of her drag queen brother impersonating Liza, Madonna, and Barbara. Those pictures were of a young Nina DiAngelo (EOY 2003). To this day, Nina still has a picture of herself, as Barbara, hugging Brittany on the set of the movie. It was filmed in Minneapolis.

Just for FYI....I just got my Hotel reservations at LE PARC SUITE HOTEL, which is a 4 star boutique...at $100 per nite. This was a complete steal..., the location and everything is perfect. If you want this deal try priceline. I can't guarantee that you are going to get this hotel, but you may. If I made reservations through the hotel, the price would have been $200 plus a night.

There isn't that many pageants anymore in La like there was 10 years ago.I would have entered this pageant but I am fat right now very fat!
