THE PAGEANT IS 2 WEEKS AWAY FROM TODAY (SUNDAY)...

GOOD LUCK TO ALL THOSE COMPETING. I HAD A GREAT EXPERIENCE WITH THIS SYSTEM BACK IN AUGUST. TREATED ME WELL. LOVE ME SOME TRINITY AND DAMONI. GREAT FOLKS YA'LL SO COME OUT AND SUPPORT. KARON(NOT KIANA)...LOL.... WILL BE IN THE BUILDING.

Any word on who the judges are? Or who may be competing? I think it is going to be a great weekend!!!

Well we had two newcomer prelims qualified thus far: Alexis Cassadine, Camille Davenport-Sherrington, Tyson St. James, Carlos Dupree, and T. Starr.

But of course there will be a slew of contestants so you don' t wanna miss out.

I have to search through my email to get the list of judges but I'll post that later.

REGISTRATION & REHEARSAL @ 12:00PM
Because of the logistics associated with organizing a pageant, all contestants are expected to arrive for registration/rehearsal on time. The contestant orientation meeting (in which we ask all contestants to attend) will begin promptly. At that time, contestants will complete paperwork, draw contestant numbers, pay entry fee, tour facility, etc.

There will be time allotted onstage for those who choose/want to rehearse their talent. All contestants are asked to please have their music checked on the house system in advance.


CONTESTANT RETURN / CHECK-IN TIME @ 5:30PM
Contestants Helper(s) will ONLY be allowed to return with their contestant at the designated return/check-in time to be allowed free entry. Any helper attempting to enter after 6:00PM will be REQUIRED to pay the general admission fee. NO EXCEPTIONS!

If you will be using any props for your talent, you must bring them to the Club 708 at the assigned check-in time. Because of limited space, we urge all contestants to minimize the number of large props used. All props should be free standing and must be able to enter through a standard size doorway. You must remove all props from the club following the competition. Also remember Ebony International does not provide contestants with backstage staff for prop setup and tear down, although we will assist with your props as much as possible. The backstage staff will not, under any circumstance, be responsible for any damage to props while helping a contestant. Each contestant must secure his/her own props at all times.


DOORS OPEN FOR GENERAL ADMISSION @ 6:00PM
General Admission: (TBA after Rehearsal)

National System Promoters list/names for free admission will be left at the door.

Ebony International will allow free entry to the following recognized newcomer systems and their REIGNING NEWCOMER titleholders:
- Black America
- Black Continental
- Dumarr International
- East Coast International
- Elite International
- Models Inc.
- National Icon
- Renaissance
- Sweetheart International

National Newcomer titleholders must arrive @ Club 708 to check in between 5:30PM-6:00 PM (in order to be admitted free & participate in the National Walk). Otherwise they too will be required to pay admission after 6:00PM. So please plan accordingly.

Any reigning newcomer system/titleholder can participate in the National Newcomer walk, but are required to pay admission. (Only those 9 systems listed above will be admitted in free before 6:00PM).

National Walk will immediately follow Presentation category.

Child the host hotel had internet connection problems. It only would pick up close to the lobby and yall know I'm fat tired lazy fish. After an 8 hour pageant I went to BED!

FYI....Elaine Davis, Miss EIPS Plus is my NEW BFF!

If I'm not mistaken, we heard 6 TAKE TIMES, 4 RHYTHM OF LOVES, and 2 back to back ERYKA BADUs! lol

Nya Catoure, I think that is her name, Plus sized girl, WAS AWESOME. I hate her gown zipper busted but she was ON IT. I can imagine that that was the only think keeping her form the five but miss thing was GREAT. I also lived for miss Deonna who was back stage in that hair and that mug. I LOVED and then when I saw her this morning I didn't even recognize her.

Talen standouts were Camille's Jesus Cna Work it Out Remix SHE WENT IN HARD HARD HARD and Nya's One More Chance (and it's hard for me to like someone's ONE MORE CHANCE lol). I lived for those two. We also had two live talents but I forgot their names.

My co hosts, Elains, Trinity, and Ava were AWESOME!
