Just a clarification from the twitter posts Andy wasn't there he's still sick with no vaction days left in Georgia LOL. It was Khori and Brandon that were doing the trannyshack updates.

Congrats to Asia and RK. Was RaQuan 1st runnerup? I hope he qualified to go to nationals he's a good kid and we've had a couple conversations on Myspace he is very serious about the system. Someone mentioned MBU....he just competed at MBA a few weeks ago...

Congrats on what I heard was a great contest. I woke up this morning to 8 text messages...I love pageant nights!!! LOL

For some reason, has to be the sickness and stuffed head, but I want to say that MANY years ago, Savage won TEOY back in the old days.

OK...now that I got some rest!

WHEW...what a night! First of all, it was a wonderful contest! I doubled my crowd from last year and everyone was having a wonderful time from what I could see. Carmella is a total hoot...I saw people laughing so hard they were crying! I hope she gets to come back to Dallas sooner than later.

Bianca and Xavier were both entertaining and charming national representatives last night. I asked them both to do an extra number and it was no issue whatsoever...totally prepared! It was nice to see both of them mingling for a bit with the contestants and offering words of encouragement, as well as Bianca shooting some video for youtube!

Monte St. James...totally took down the room with his sexy performance...there were lines of ppl on either aisle lined up to get themselves a piece! He's staying over the weekend and I'm looking forward to getting to know him better.

Also, a big thanks to Edna Jean Robinson, Chanel and Alexis Nicole Whitney for entertaining the audience during the contest as well. Edna did this gaga parody that was...well..messy...think melted chocolate. The crowd was...umm...gagging

The contest...

All 5 contestants were ready for EOY! Their packages embodied the creative spirit that this system thrives on. The MR division especially was very competitive and tight! I'm glad to have awesome representation this year with the likes of RK Larue and Ra'Quan Demornay Bone't. In the MISS division, it was nice to see a seasoned entertainer like Sweet Savage step back on stage and show us she still have what it takes. I'm sure she will put something together amazing for us at nationals. And Asia...she wasn't playing last night. Every category was out-of-the-box, well crafted and rehearsed...you couldn't ask for anything more. She even sat down and served tea at the end of her talent on stage!

I couldn't count the number of people coming to me afterwords telling me how much they enjoy EOY, and want to either compete for this contest next year or attend nationals and support. NOW that is a high compliment if you ask me and I am excited for the EOY system!

Big thanks to the Rose Room, Ben Earley, my lovely wife Kandy Cayne, Alena Dejah and all my judges for helping me make this night a success!

P.S. Yes ma'am...Bianca sure can tear up a Jack-in-the-Box drive-thru!

Congrats go to Asia on capturing TXEOY and good luck to you as you now prepare for NEOY.. Sweet Savage I'm glad you trying for another Title who knows history might repeat as you go to Nationals as the 1ru just like you did at USofA...lol

John maybe this year you could have the TXEOY be crown NEOY...good luck to your King and Queen...

On another note can we please have a memorial service for Lawandas leopard print gown? Lawanda wore it to EOY and they hated it, Shae Shae wore it to California EOY and they hated it and now Savage has it....

Thanks for having me again John. I had a great time.

The men's portion was actually pretty close. RK and Ra'quan both were battling. What put RK over the top was his presentation and talent. RK's Hairspray talent was amazing. It told a story, it had a beginning, middle, and end. The choreography and staging were both very very good.

Ra'quan could not be denied in the clothing categories. His body is on point. His swimsuit is amazing, and his evening wear was EVERYTHING. His Q&A is what probably cost him the pageant. His presentation and talent were both good and clean. Speaking on the Mic is not his forte.

The Queens. Asia was not to be denied. He presentation was amazing, Her Gown( her UsofA step down gown) was Beautiful, not to creative, but creativity is only 10 points. And Her Mad Hater talent will slay at Nationals. This is only my second EOY prelim this year and I can Promise that Asia is going to be a contender.

Savage is such a legend. Everything about what she did just screamed professional. The gown I am over, but No one looked better in it than Savage. Unfortunately for her, lots of things started with a bang and then went no where. Her presentation and talent were both kinda blah towards the end.

Great seeing so many friends again.

Can't wait until Highland Park UsofA. See you all there.

Now I must say I was extremely extremely disappointed in Bianca. Does she have friends? Because one of you need to tell her to put some hair on and stop getting naked and entertain. I could not believe what I was seeing. Her body seems very toned but all the tats just does not look good on stage....seems distracting..... but honestly without hair (or her hair pulled back in a ponytail and bangs), ..I don't know..will leave it at that.....just disappointing.

I would just like to say yjat I normally love you and always respect you. But Stacey she is not the fierst and won't be the last to get naked. Maybe she did bot float your boat or entertain you but please give her the respect. Yes your opinion is your opinion but not everybody sees things the same way. not to stir it more but I was at three USofA prelims this year and that's all I saw from the current reigning too was nakedness and a ponytail.

Let's not pick on who wins and just accept that "they are what they are"

Additionally, if you don't like them don't tip them. I've had people say "Is that all she can do is Gaga at every prelim" Well here's the kicker she makes bank every time she does it and when she doesn't do it people get mad that she didn't do Gaga and come up to her and talk about how they seen it on Youtube and ask her where she'll be next that they can see her do Gaga.

The same can be said with Tommmie Ross and Erika Badu, etc etc etc....if you're tired of seeing it quit running up to the stage grinning with a dollar bill in your hand and they'll quit doing it. LOL

I have not been on here much lately due to the new position I began in early March. I have been working 14-16 hours a day and just come home and crawl in bed and then back up and at it again. I am so sorry that Big Daddy and I were not there for the pageant. We had originally made plans for coming down for several days, but after this Director of Nursing position was offered to me, that kind of blew several trips we had planned for March and April outta the water.

I am so happy that you doubled your attendance and know that your winners will be well promoted. We will be in the Big "D" however all week for USofA, so we will see you then......Once again, congratulations on a well prepared and sucessful pageant......and best of luck to your winners, hope you guys can bring an EOY crown home to Texas.....

Thank you John and Kandy for your hospitality, it was great seeing the two of you and I had a blast spending those four days with you two. Thanks to the contestants for putting on a great show and what I thought was a wonderful competition, I look forward to seeing what all of you bring for nationals.

As far as what I do on-stage, I really don't care about what someone else thinks about me because I am happy with who I am and how I perform. And if my mind serves me correctly, Stacey, you didn't care for me from the beginning of me reign, in fact, you even had a problem at the fact that I wore a gown that showed body. So should I expect any less of you? It won though, didn't it? As far as my tattoos are concerned, again, something that I'm okay with. Change with the times and learn to accept that this is a different generation and believe it or not piercings as well as body art are no longer taboo. There are plenty of people who I see that have faces that are unappealing, but I normally keep those comments to myself whether or not I care for them. No, I may not wear the biggest hair all the time, nor do I stamp my face like some over-priced hooker, but I do me, and EOY knew what they were getting when they chose to crown me. And finally just to clarify, because that is what you people in these forums need...clarification, my song selections for the night of the pageant where my secondary choices because I chose to give up the songs I originally planned to do for the sake of other entertainers that night and their wants to do certain song selections. I don't know too many girls who would be so nice. Then again, and like I said before...I really don't care. I've already proven myself back in August 2009.

Bianca - You have been NOTHING but sweet and nice. We ALL know what you proved in August 2009 and the crown went to the contestant that WON and this is coming from someone that proudly invested $6,000 on another contestant. I'm very very proud of you and proud to call you Miss National Entertainer of the Year 2009.
