Oh I'm pretty sick I had no business travelling today but I did it anyway. So glad to be in dayton for AAG.

My standouts:

Gown: myah cambel myah cambell myah cambell!!! Then alana, some taylor girl and alyssa.

Presentation: alana steele was really the only standout to me and id have myah cambell second

Talent: yaaaawnn....... lordy I have no idea

So tomorrow night, they do talent and gown again or what????

Just becareful Andy and enjoy the show..I know u will give us the infor...I don't think you are sick just living life ...... Good Luck Kandy...bring the crown to Dallas...

CREATIVE PRESENTATION:
1. Alana Steele---Came out as slot machine, roulette spinning :censored:, dice on her head...Elvis, so much more!
2. Cass Mario Domino----A Transformer............it made me pee a little LOL
3. Myah Campell---Butterfly but amazing speech and story.
4. Tanisha Cassidine---Painted like a Zebra with a huge back piece.
5. Lady Marissa---The Hindu GOddess with the 6 arms, visually stunning.


Talent:
1. Chanel Cartier---Burgery King Talent which was hillarious

The first year AAG had 8 contestants so they didn't really have a top anything. The next year they had 21 and had a tie so they ended up having a top 12. So this is the first year they've really been able to decide whether it's a 10 or a 12.

Scott asked my opinion and I said 12. So we'll see tonight which it is.

I say 10.....The 11th and 12th place girls will more than likely not win the pagaent....Why be bothered and make the pagaent longer than what its going to be anyways?

I too like a "Top 10".

Not as long, time wise (as just mentioned), and you have a split down the middle at the end of the night....i.e. five that made the "Top 5" and five that didn't.

so true....a waste of time, sitting thru 11 and 12....bad enough we have to sit through 7-12.....lmao
but like someone else mentions....it's these people pageant and they will run it how they choose....

Stasha Sanchez was in 11th place last year at USofA. We would have missed out on one of the best Miss USofAs ever had there only been a Top 10.

I'm just sayin'.

Now I am not sure how they run their pageant. I am assuming that there are some carry over scores. But I know from experience it is usually just a few points between each contestant. So there is usually not much ground to make up, when you are sitting in 11th or 12th place after prelim nights. I have seen many times the girl that was in the 12 spot come and have an amazing night, while all the other girls fall apart. So 11 and 12 has just as much of a shot as the 10 girls before them. When is the last time a total booger made the cut? lol

For this new pageant system with 23 total contestants...I think a Top 10 is sufficient...
Other systems, such as Continental,USofA and America...Have larger numbers..So a Top 12, in more in order...

That I will agree with. It would be kind of weird to send over half the girls into finals. Might as well just have the pageant all in one night, if that's the case...lol

Well I guess that is a good thing. As the pageant grows and more contestants qualify. They wont have to change anything down the line. The girls in the future will know what to expect...

No...it was made thursday night before the pageant started. Just wasn't made public until about an hour ago.

If it was already decided then why were you, and possibly others, asked for your opinion on which to have?? Sounds strange.

I was asked on Thursday when I got into town. I said a top 12 then...he said ok.

To me....With 23 contestants...In a new system ..A two day pageant and a Top 10 is sufficient...
Many of us, just can't go three nights to some of these pageants !...Even if we live in the city where the pageant is being held....Sometimes (Three nights) is OVERKILL !
